Description
Oxygen Gauge Normal A normal oxygen tank pressure for a full welding cylinder is around 2,200 psi (pounds per square inch), while normal working delivery pressure ranges from 5 to 15 psi depending on your torch tip size and task Understanding the Two Gauges An oxy-acetylene oxygen regulator uses two separate dials to monitor gas:
- Tank Pressure Gauge (High Pressure): Reads up to 3,000 or 4,000 psi. A completely full oxygen cylinder reads roughly 2,200 psi. This number drops steadily as you use the gas, showing how much supply remains.
- Working/Delivery Pressure Gauge (Low Pressure): Reads up to 50 or 100 psi. This shows the actual operating pressure going into your hose
